PostSubject: hey, I'm Kevin!   Tue Mar 10, 2009 2:12 am

Hey, I'm Kevin and i'm 12 years old. I live in Holland, so forgive me if i don't spell everything correct. I don't have a bmx but I use a little mtb from my brother.( afro )
but I have a question about the wheelie. If i pull up the steer, I or: Immediately flip over,
or: don't pull high enough and fall down. scratch
Can some1 give me some tips?

I think you are talking about a manual. You aren't pedaling right?

If you aren't pedaling, it's a manual, and all you can do is practice until you find your balance point easily.

If you are pedaling, try to slow down or speed up to find the balance point.

I suggest not pedaling.

Welcome to the comunity.

@poizone: I'm pedaling, that's why I called it a wheelie. What's easier then, Manual or Wheelie?

A wheelie is easier, but a manual is better to learn. A manual is more technical, and used in more tricks. It's also cooler to watch.

okay, thanks.
Do I need to go fast for the Manual, or not?
And something else, what should I learn first then?
Manual or Bunnyhop

Bunny hop. The bunny hop is the staple trick of BMX. Without it, your just another clown riding around town on your back wheel. There is a very informative guide in the 'How to" section on bunny hops.

okay, thanks. Then I'll go practice on the Bunny hop. It's 7:30 in morning here in Holland now, so I'm going to school soon, but in the afternoon I have some time to BMX.
